 The Bahamas Travel Health Card is an official identification card which enables you to enter the country in accordance with the normal regulations on COPIA-19.  The Bahamas Travel Health Card also covers land entry and exit, including boat entry and exit. Import and Exception Exceptions are still subject to further review at a later time. The Bahamas Travel Health Card information is equivalent to a green card that permits entry to the Bahamas.

The government office sells the cards at an annual rate and can provide information about obtaining your own. You can also purchase them online at different vendors.  The Bahamas Travel Health Card, which is valid for entry to the Bahamas, is also valid for boat travel to certain ports within the Bahamas. It does not cover non-medical services. You would need to have another type of insurance, such as a Bahamian Passport issued by the Bahama Island Government.
